Anne Wilson

I joined Sweet Adeline's seven years ago as a means of spending time with my sister and my mother doing something fun!  It was the first time in my adult life I had lived close enough to them to share our passion for music.  It was also the first time I stayed in one place long enough to get involved in something I enjoyed doing just for me!

Sisters:  Anne & Kappy (Kathy)

After seven years on active duty in the US Army as a Tank Turret and Fire Control Systems repairer, I turned in my sergeant stripes and took on the role as Army wife to my husband Jay and mother of our three beautiful daughters Andrea, Sarah and Heather.  After 21 years of marriage and 11 moves, we recently set the record of living in one place the longest…four whole years!  We are now comfortably settled in a quiet country town in the beautiful hills of Central Massachusetts.  No more worries of military orders or deployments as Jay recently retired from the Army.

Finally setting some roots has enabled me to pursue career type employment with the Veterans Administration at the Springfield Vet Center where I work as the Office Manager.   Between work and family, I still manage to find time for my favorite past time…SINGING.  Being a member of Millennium Magic is proving to be a great place to be to explore our beloved art form.  I also enjoy my time singing with my sister in our quartet, Double Trouble, with our two best friends who also happen to be sisters!  We even manage to involve our children in our hobby with our family group, Gee Wil-A-Kerrs.  It is getting more difficult as our children are flying the nest, but when we are all together, you can bet there is music.
