For the past 35 years, I have been teaching first, second and fourth grades. Since I will be retiring in June, people are always asking, "What are you going to do with all your free time?" I always say travel and have fun. Now, I can add sing!! Millennium Magic Chorus seems to be the answer to all three.

I've always loved music, whether it was junior or senior choir, community chorus or singing harmonies while riding in the car with my sister, I've always sung. Piano and clarinet lessons kept me busy growing up. I played clarinet through college.

I've only been a Sweet Adeline since June 2003. Singing with Millennium Magic Chorus has been a challenge, but worth it! I had to watch at IES this year, but look forward to getting on stage with this award-winning chorus. What a privilege to start at the top!
